I just had the pleasure of listening to your show, for the first time and wow, it is absolutely fantastic - we are new to internet sites/stations and places like myspace, but I think it is fantastic that so many amazing talents have a place where their music can be heard and celebrated - there is so much talent out there that for years we have missed because they were just not heard ! It is fantastic that people such as my husband Chris is now able to put together his music - at home, because like most, he works a very hard and physical job, as a carpenter. His music is firstly, his love and now being able to share it with others around the world !!! It’s great - it is for everyone because there is no way that most of us could afford to record in a professional studio ! And for the female artists, to be able to raise a family, keep a home and still make such amazing music, like your guest Maria Daines. How sad it would be if her voice, her messages in song were not heard around the world ! Your show has been a thrill to listen to - all your guest musicians are deserving of exposure and are all are top quality artists with so much to give - so keep on doing what you are doing !
Thank You Thank YOU ! :)

Great show Maria and Paul - you are radio naturals ! :) and Texas Jake you are the BEST ! And we fully support the independant label - it is nice to see artists rewarded for their passion and hard work instead of someone sitting on the top pocketing the $$$’s There are too many out there living off the backs of other’s hard work - and love.

Thank You Everyone - we are smiling from ear to ear as we listen to this amazing blues and interview!

I think, if it has’t been done already that Texas Jake should write a book on how it all began for him… the long road and who he has played with etc., - it would make such a great read ? ! And it would certainly sort out my problem on what to get people for Christmas !

    Chris

Maria Daines, Paul Killington and Texas Jake Lee !!!!

I have just completed listening to your very entertaining, informative and great interview / discussion. I have learned so much about the history oif the blues through this interview. I must say that I think you have a nice piece of radio history that you have completed here.

Congratulations to all three of you for giving freely of your thoughts, talents and artistry through this cool medium !!!!

It has been an honour and a pleasure to be privy to the music and life of Texas Jake Lee as he tells us all about what the blues means to not only himself, but what the blues mean to us all.

My favourite story is when Jake Lee describes when he first learned to play the guitar. I know that Jake Lee takes great pride in his craft. And, he sometimes plays with a bottleneck slide from 1927 that means a great deal to him because it is a family heirloom passed on to Jake Lee that belonged to his grandfather.
