Clint Anglin has been playing since he was 16 and, although he has written some music then, it was a couple of guitars and 30 years later that he picked up the pen and started writing again. I spent some time with Clint on the telephone and we covered how and why he writes and what blues and folk music means to him. He admits that he cannot be shoved into a definite genre, but he does give it a name: “Blues Grass”. So, sit back, pour yourself a cool drink and listen to a real gentleman, Dr. Clint Anglin.

Great podcast! I enjoyed it alot. Clint has such a graceful yet earthy style. I like the blending of blues and folk, aka “Blues Grass”. Being prolific and fresh as a songwriter would seem to be an overwhelming challenge but Clint is able to do it with ease. I would encourage him to play live, (as opposed to dead:-)) either solo or with another like-minded player because I’m sure the music would go over well and generate some smiles.
Regards,
Paul
